Max is quiet for a long moment, then finally pulls off his coat, setting it on the couch next to him. The last thing he wants to do is keep talking about it, but he still can't manage to get what happened on the street out of his head. It'll pass, it usually does, but he doesn't have a goddamn idea when it finally will.
